Relay for Life

My daughter and I walked and walked and walked this weekend to raise money for cancer research in the Relay for Life. The DY Relay raised $315,000 so far, how amazing that is, how proud I am to have been a part. There were a lot of tears shed, but there was also laughter... The luminaries on one side of the bleachers said "HOPE" and I have hope... Thank you to all who supported us in our walk.

Locks for Love

Well, I kept talking about it, and finally, I've cut my hair to donate to Locks for Love. I donated 12 inches of my wild, crazy, mane of hair...

If you'd like to find out more, please visit http://www.locksoflove.org/.

If you're thinking of donating hair, call the studio, I'd love to create before and after portraits for you as a gift... (by appointment only please!) I can also refer you to a couple of great hairdressers.

Trina & Dave got married

Trina and Dave had a beautiful wedding at the Sandwich Hollows, it was a great day to photograph such a beautiful couple! What a fun day it was, lots of laughter, the dance floor was hopping, the food (catered by the always fabulous Casual Gourmet) was delicious... A wonderful day for them to begin their journey as Mr. and Mrs... We wish them the best always...

damn Yankees

well, we had a great time, the rain held off until about 11pm, and then it was just a dry rain (as we Cape Codders say, well at least that's what a friend of mine was told we Cape Codders say!), we came from behind, it was all very exciting, but then those damn Yankees... sadly, they also came from behind, and we didn't make it back... But, like any Sox fan knows, this game didn't make any difference, it's early in the season, and just really doesn't count...

Good seats $85.00, parking $30.00, being at a Red Sox/Yankees game, well okay not really priceless when they lose, but almost...
